Today's my birthday! Remember last year? Things have really changed in the last year. Well, I still have the tattoo, but lots of changes otherwise.
I spent the weekend at Mom's, and stash enhancement occurred. I visited Nanncy's (apparently, no website), which has moved to a space four times as big, so of course I had to buy something!
On the right are three skeins of Rowan KidsilkHaze in Candy Girl, destined to become Wisp. On the left, there are two skeins of Colinette Jitterbug: Sahara and Raspberry. And over the weekend, I also heard that I won a skein of Jitterbug in Courtney's contest. What's really funny is that, until now, I had no Jitterbug in my stash!
So - y'all can help me out with this over-abundance. Leave a comment on this post by 10:00 p.m. (central time) on Sunday, August 5, and some random commenter will win one of the skeins above (either the Sahara or the Raspberry -- your choice).

First of all, Happy Birthday!!! a day or so late. I have fallen off hte sock train so badly that I didn't even know Colinette made a sock yarn. What a dope. Those are great colors. The rain stopped and now it's getting hot, do you miss it yet?

Happy (belated) Birthday. The wisp looks fun. There is a yarn store close by where I work that is going out of business, and I have been wanting to try some lace work. I am a new knitter. Maybe this is just the thing.
